Rebecca Halfon is a writer, filmmaker, and producer born and raised in New York City. Her most recent film, “Bodega,” had its World Premiere at the 2019 South by Southwest Film Festival. She has a background in environmental advocacy, and also worked for two years as personal assistant to actor and activist Mark Ruffalo before pursuing a career in filmmaking. She is an alumna of Barnard College (2013).
Her newest project, a short comedy called “Esther,” is currently in pre-production.
